To access Section 3 job postings, you must have the necessary certifications to perform the work on-site. Most construction sites require employees to complete at least the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) 10-hour construction course, which provides an introduction to OSHA standards and requirements. Priority will be given to NYCHA residents residing in the NYCHA development, which provides support covered by Section 3. The HUD Section 3 Opportunities Portal is designed to help HUD grantees and Section 3 companies meet their Section 3 benchmarks. The Site must be used by Section 3 Workers, Targeted Workers or Employers. Section 3 Employees can use the website to search for jobs and publish their job profile/history for companies.
